Two men have been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged in relation to the death of 27-year-old Christopher Nevin, of St Francis Park, Navan last week.
Wayne Cluskey, 24, and Josh Turner, 23, both with addresses at Mooretown, Ratoath, County Meath appeared before Navan District Court.
They each face a charge alleging they intentionally or recklessly caused serious harm to Mr Nevin.
The offence is alleged to have taken place at 15 Tailteann Road, Windtown, Navan, last Thursday, 19 November.
Judge Grainne Malone heard evidence from the prosecution and also from both defence lawyers before directing that both accused should be remanded in custody.
They will next appear before Cloverhill District Court on Tuesday.
