The Westside Business Park in Waterford has been closed as emergency services assess a gas tank at an engineering plant.
Gardaí said the park will possibly remain closed until tomorrow.
Staff at Hannon's Marine Engineering plant alerted emergency services after they noticed a flame coming out of a gas tank on the premises.
Workers at the plant and nearby units were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Emergency services are continuing to monitor the situation.
The road between Carrickpherish and Carriganard roundabouts re-opened after being closed earlier this morning.
