The Minister for Enterprise Trade and Innovation has ruled out any change in the corporation tax rate in the next Budget.
In a speech to potential UK investors in Ireland later tonight, Batt O'Keeffe is expected to say that the 12.5% corporation tax rate has allowed Ireland to outperform other larger countries in seeking foreign direct investment and that the rate will not change in the Budget due next month.
Mr O'Keeffe will be speaking in London at a dinner sponsored by the IDA.
