A series of online videos have been launched by the Irish Family Planning Association to address the changes in abortion care due to Covid-19.
Abortion became available in Ireland on a woman's request up to 12 weeks of pregnancy over a year ago.
The model of care required two face-to-face visits to a doctor, three days apart.
A mifepristone tablet was taken with the doctor present, and misoprostol at home 24 to 28 hours later.
Due to Covid-19, the Health Service Executive issued a revised model of care in early April.
The announcement was criticised by the Pro-Life Campaign at the time.
The new model means visits are kept to a minimum while complying with the law.
Most women now have their two medical appointments remotely - attending the clinic to collect the medications and information materials.
The IFPO says clients can watch the information videos before or after telephone appointments.
The videos explain that there are now two telephone medical consultations with a doctor, with a waiting period of three days in between.
The client can also talk to a counsellor about any concerns or worries relating to her unintended pregnancy and receive any supports she needs.
Doctors continue to see some women and girls in person, and some people are also referred for an ultrasound scan or to complete their care in a hospital.
The doctor decides if this is necessary after taking a medical history and discussing the pregnancy with the client.
Following the second medical consultation, the woman collects the Home Care Pack from the clinic.
All IFPA clients will receive a letter for garda checkpoints to show that they are attending the clinic for an essential medical service.
The videos are conducted by the Irish Family Planning Association staff.
The organisation says the scripts were developed with the oversight of its Medical Director, Dr Caitríona Henchion.
The IFPA has uploaded the series of videos to their YouTube channel.
