The new children's hospital will open in 2023, the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board has said.
The building is due to completed in late 2022 and this will be followed by a period of commissioning.
The development board said that construction work is progressing at pace, with the structural concrete frame, walls, slabs and columns now above ground level in the most advanced areas.

Basement excavation and piling are now substantially complete.
"Construction will be finished in Q3 2022. This will be followed by a period of commissioning and it will open in 2023," the board said.
A report by independent consultants PwC on the cost overruns is due soon.
The current projected cost is over €1.4 billion.
