The head of the CervicalCheck inquiry has said that it appears he now has access to documentation being provided by the Health Service Executive in a searchable format.
The documentations has all redactions, apart from those relating to patient confidentiality, removed.
The inquiry is now checking this for completeness.
Dr Gabriel Scally said it was very welcome progress and would assist him in progressing the inquiry in a more time-efficient manner.
He said he wanted to acknowledge the co-operation of all the HSE staff who have assisted in making the information available.
His inquiry is due to conclude at the end of the summer.
