The blaze broke out at about 8pm last night in a private residence above the Metro Hotel in Ballymun
The fire started on the building's 13th floor before spreading to surrounding floorsFirefighters wearing specialist breathing apparatus made their way through the hotel, to dampen down flames and extinguish hot spots
