All seats have now been filled in the 2024 General Election.
Here is every candidate who has won a seat on the third day of counting in order of when they were elected.
Réada Cronin
Having run unsuccessfully in 2016, Cronin was elected to the Dáil in 2020.
She was appointed Sinn Féin junior spokesperson on defence in May 2023. Ms Cronin was a member of Kildare County Council between 2014 and 2019.
Naoise Ó Cearúil
A former Mayor of Kildare, Ó Cearúil was first elected to Kildare County Council in 2014, topping the poll in Maynooth LEA in 2019 and 2024.
He was the first candidate elected in Kildare in the local elections in June 2024.
Joe Neville
A native of Leixlip, Neville has served on Kildare County Council since 2014.
He topped the poll in Leixlip LEA in 2019 and 2024 - winning a massive 37.8% share of the vote in the most recent election.
Alan Kelly
A former senator and MEP, Mr Kelly who is based in Portroe was first elected to the Dáil in 2011.
He was the Deputy leader of his party from 2014-2016 and succeeded Brendan Howlin as Party leader in April 2020, but resigned from the position in March 2022.
Ryan O'Meara
Mr O'Meara is a native of Toomevara and now living in Cloughjordan, and was successful in contesting the local elections in the Nenagh LEA as a first time candidate.
He has been working as a Parliamentary Assistant to outgoing Fianna Fáil TD, Jackie Cahill, who did not seek re-election.
Paula Butterly
Ms Butterly was initially co-opted as a member of Louth County Council in February 2021, but was elected for the Ardee LEA in this year's local elections.
A first-time general election candidate, Ms Butterly lived in Italy for 20 years, before returning to Ireland in 2016 and she now lives near Port Beach.
Ged Nash
Elected to the Dáil in 2011 at his second attempt, Mr Nash served as Minister of State for Business and Employment from 2014-2016 but lost his lost his seat in 2016 before being elected to the Dáil again in 2020.
He has served as a senator and a member of Louth County Council and is Drogheda-based.
Erin McGreehan
Elected to Louth County Council as a first-time candidate in 2019, Ms McGreehan was nominated to the Seanad by then Taoiseach Micheál Martin in June 2020.
She was her party's Seanad Spokesperson on Children, Disability, Equality and Integration and she lives in Cooley.
Eoghan Kenny
A Mallow based councillor, Mr Kenny is a first-time general election candidate and topped the poll in the Mallow LEA earlier this year.
The 24-year-old is a secondary school teacher at Coachford College.
Matt Carthy
Mr Carthy is a Monaghan based TD and former MEP, first elected to the Dáil when he topped the poll as a first-time candidate in 2020.
He has served as the party's spokesperson on Foreign Affairs & Defence, and in 2018 he revealed to The Irish Times that he would consider a bid for the Sinn Féin deputy leadership if he received enough nominations, but that he would not actively seek that support.
Cathy Bennett
Ms Bennett, from Scotstown Co Monaghan is the Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council having been first elected in 2014, and a first-time Dáil candidate.
She was described by party leader, Mary Lou McDonald in early November as a "formidable, feisty, no-nonsense Monaghan woman".
Brendan Smith
A TD since 1992, Mr Smith is a former Minister for Agriculture and Minister for Justice and has been Chairman of the Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party since 2016.
Based in Cavan, Mr Smith was the sole Fianna Fáil TD to retain a seat in Cavan-Monaghan when in the 2011 general election.
Niamh Smyth
Ms Smyth was elected to the Dáil for Cavan-Monaghan as a first-time candidate in 2016, and was appointed Chairperson of the Oireachtas Committee on Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport, and the Gaeltacht in September 2020.
She enjoyed a high profile role during the Oireachtas hearings into RTÉ payments controversy, and attracted considerable attention earlier this year after she admitted to canvassing for a Yes vote in the care referendum, while voting against the amendment.
