From the Taoiseach's regular TikTok updates to Independent TD Michael Healy-Rae channelling his inner 'BRAT', Irish politicians are all over social media, in an effort to appeal to a younger demographic.
With a general election fast approaching, RTÉ News spoke to the students of Ireland's first influencer degree course at South East Technological University (SETU) in Carlow to ask them what they think of politicians on social media.
These first years are studying a BA in Content Creation and Social Media.
