Dáil Bets Are Off

Labour and Sinn Féin are both down in the latest Irish Times/MRBI poll as Fianna Fáil and the Independents get a boost. The results suggest a hung Dáil with just four days for the parties to shore up support.
'Remarkable' Day

Taoiseach Enda Kenny gave a whole new meaning to the word "remarkable" when he spent a good deal of today explaining the context of his comment about "whingers" while speaking at a rally in Castlebar on Sunday. He also apologised unreservedly for any offence caused.
'Trouble' With a Capital T

Most politicians say Election Day is the only poll that counts. But not the Anti-Austerity Alliance/People Before Profit grouping.
