Opinion poll suggests drop for FG and SF

The results of an Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI poll suggest that Fine Gael is on 28%, down two percentage points on the previous survey in November.

When undecided voters are excluded, Fianna Fáil is on 21%, up two, Sinn Féin at 19%, down two, the Labour Party unchanged at 7%, with Independents and Others on 25%, up two.

The margin of error is put at plus or minus 2.8%.

The survey was taken on Monday and Tuesday this week in all constituencies.

Before undecided voters were excluded, Fine Gael was 21%, Labour 6%, Fianna Fáil 16%, Sinn Féin 15%, Independents/Others 20% and undecided voters 22%.
