A man has been arrested after suspected ketamine was seized in Lucan, Co Dublin.
During a search operation at a premises on Sunday, gardaí discovered 1kg of suspected ketamine with an estimated value of €60,000.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is being held at a garda station in Dublin.
Follow-up searches yesterday led to the seizure of a further 13kg of suspected ketamine, valued at approximately €770,000.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
The seizure was made as part of Operation Tara, which targets drug trafficking networks at international, national and local levels, including those involved in the importation, distribution and sale of controlled drugs.
