Scramblers, e-scooters and drugs seized in Dublin

Gardai seized 29 scrambler bikes during the searches in west Dublin

More than 60 scramblers, e-scooters, quad bikes, along with drugs and weapons, were seized by gardaí during a series of searches in west Dublin on Friday.

The searches were carried out as part of Operation Meacán, targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs and related criminal activity, in Finglas, Cabra and Blanchardstown.

Eighteen properties were searched and among the vehicles seized were 29 scramblers, 21 e-scooters and 3 e-bikes.

Drugs worth almost €21,000 were also seized, including cannabis with an estimate value of €16,020, along with €1,000 worth of alprazolam tables and €3,500 worth of crack cocaine.

A number of weapons were also recovered.
