More than 100kg of herbal cannabis concealed in a box labelled 'linen bedding' was seized at Dublin Airport today.

The cannabis was vacuum packed and discovered by Revenue officers during a routine operation.

It was valued at around €2.1m and originated in the US.

It was destined for an address in Northern Ireland.

Revenue said the seizure was part of Revenue's ongoing operation targeting in the importation of illegal drugs.
