The Christmas lights have been switched on in Dublin city centre.
For weeks preparations have been under way to get Henry Street looking seasonal and festive, along with 24 other streets across the capital city.
Dublin Town is the organisation which represents business owners and it has been decorating shops and streets for 17 years.
Switching the lights on is a very special job and this year it fell to two very special children: Eight-year-old Darcie Gavin and seven-year-old Liam Tomney, both from Tallaght.
