Gardaí and emergency services are currently at North Strand Road, Dublin 1, following the discovery of a suspicious device.
The services of the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit were requested and they are currently conducting an examination of the scene.
The road is closed from the Five Lamps Junction to the Newcomen Bridge on North Strand Road.
