A teenager has been injured following a shooting outside a house in south Dublin.
The boy, aged in his mid-teens, was taken to St James's Hospital following the incident in Bluebell at around 8.15pm.
He is being treated for injuries described as non-life threatening.
Sinn Féin Councillor Daithí Doolan described the shooting as an attack on the whole community.
He said: "I want to wish the victim a full and speedy recovery.
"It was totally unacceptable and should not have happened. Those involved must face justice."
