Two people have been arrested after drugs worth more than €700,000 were seized in Dublin yesterday.
A man in his 20s was arrested after his vehicle was stopped and cannabis herb worth €10,000 was seized by gardaí during a routine patrol in the Rathcoole/Citywest area at around 3.45pm.
Further searches were carried out at three residential properties and cannabis herb, cocaine and crack cocaine was seized along with drug related paraphernalia.
The estimated street value of the drugs seized was €705,000.
A woman in her 20s was arrested, but was later released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The man was charged in relation to the seizure of cannabis herb in his vehicle and is due before Blanchardstown District court later.
