A man in his 20s has died after being involved in a crash while travelling on an e-scooter in Dublin yesterday.

Jack Goss, 21, was found with serious injuries on Cappagh Road in Finglas at around 5pm yesterday.

He was taken to Connolly Hospital where he has since died.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area between Heathfield and Cappagh Hospital from 4.45pm to 5.05pm yesterday to come forward, including those with dash-cam footage.

"Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station," they said.

Investigations are ongoing.
