A man in his 20s has been charged in connnection with an assault in Dublin's south inner city.
Gardaí said that he is due to appear in court tomorrow.
A man in his 60s was injured in the assault.
It happened in a flat at the Old Convent on Basin Street at around midday yesterday.
The victim is being treated at Beaumont Hospital.
