A man in his 50s has been seriously injured in an explosion at a property in Tallaght, Dublin.
He sustained injuries that are "believed to be serious but non-life threatening" in this morning's incident.
The man is being treated at Tallaght University Hospital.
Emergency services attended the scene and a garda investigation is under way.
As part of the inquiry, the Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit and the Garda Technical Bureau examined the scene.
