Gardaí investigating an organised crime group in south Dublin involved in drugs and serious crime have seized 29 cars and frozen €200,000 in cash.
The cars were seized from a car sales business in the south of the city which detectives suspect was laundering money for the criminal group.
The cash was frozen in a number of company accounts and is suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
The cars are valued at up to €600,000
Searches have also been carried out in homes and businesses in Dublin and Longford as part of the investigation.

Gardaí said the searches were carried out as part of evidence gathering related to drugs related money laundering and fraud offences.
Gardaí attached to Terenure Divisional Drugs Unit were supported by the Serious Crime units in Terenure, Crumlin and Sundrive Road and the Tallaght and Sundrive Road Divisional Drugs Units.
The Dublin South Scenes of Crime, Roads Policing Units and the armed Special Tactics and Operational Command units were also involved in the searches.
It is the fourth search and seizure operation as part of this investigation which has been ongoing for more than two years.
On 1 February 2024, 37 searches were carried out in Dublin and Wicklow.
More than €3 million worth of cocaine and €213,000 in cash was seized, while another €280,000 was frozen in bank accounts.
Three months later, another 42 searches were carried out in homes and businesses in Dublin and Kildare.
Another €263,000 in cash was seized, along with more than €100,000 worth of drugs and four cars.
Jewellery, designer watches, electronic devices, laptops, smartphones, designer clothes, bank drafts, cash counting machines and the deeds for three Spanish properties have also been seized.
