Two arrested after €1.4m worth of cocaine seized in west Dublin

€1.4 million worth of cocaine has been seized by gardaí in Dublin.

20kg of the drug was discovered when two vehicles were intercepted in Blanchardstown in the west of the city yesterday.

€15,000 in cash was also recovered.

It was part of an investigation targeting organised crime under Operation Tara.

Two men, aged 53 and 49, were arrested.

They are being held at a Garda Station in Dublin.
