A 55-year-old man has been arrested in Dublin on suspicion of human trafficking offences.

Gardaí said the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into human trafficking for the purpose of labour exploitation.

The man was arrested in north county Dublin this morning.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may be the victim of human trafficking for sexual or labour exploitation to contact them, either at their local garda station or on the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
