A man in his 40s who was arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Dublin more than two years ago, has been released without charge.
Gardaí said a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Adnan Asic had been walking home after a night out in the Blanchardstown area when he was violently assaulted in the early hours of Saturday 22 October 2022.
The 60-year-old was found lying on the ground with serious injuries at a busy junction just before 3am.
He was taken to Connolly Hosptial and pronounced dead there a short time later.
Mr Asic was originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but had been living in Ireland for nearly 30 years.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Blanchardstown Road North, Old Navan Road and Blanchardstown Shopping Centre between 12am and 3am on Saturday 22 October 2022 to contact them.
In particular they are seeking help from anyone who saw two men together at the junction of Blanchardstown Road North and Old Navan Road.
