Around 500 people are enjoying Christmas dinner in the RDS in Dublin organised by the Knights of St Columbanus.
This year marks the 100th year of its Christmas dinner for the homeless and people in need, having begun in the Mansion House in 1924.
More than 300 volunteers are helping to serve a three course meal and deliver 5,500 take away meals to homes across Dublin.
Cars, vans and mini buses have been pulling up to the RDS with volunteers from a number of organisations including Alone, St Vincent de Paul, Simon, Age Action, Dublin City and a number of other groups collecting meals and feature gift bags to be delivered.
Buses are providing transport from the city centre bringing people to and from the RDS.
As well as a three-course meal, there will also be entertainment with Irish dancers and musicians, including Liam Ó Maonlaí.

"The event is entirely run by volunteers; but rising costs are affecting our ability to maintain the high standards we continue to uphold," said Trevor McNamara, Chairman of the Christmas Day Dinner Committee.
"With your support, however, we can continue providing a warm, free meal to anyone in need on this most special of days."
One of the people attending the event was Michael McCabe, who has going to it every year for the past decade, normally with his mother, who sadly passed away last year.
"My mother is here with me in spirit today, helping me to celebrate Christmas," he said.
