Dublin Fire Brigade has said that firefighting operations aimed at extinguishing a gorse wildfire near Sandyford in Dublin have ended.
It thanked gardaí, ESB Networks and forestry company Coillte for their assistance battling the fire.
A helicopter from Coillte, it said, had "enabled great progress to be made".
Earlier, five units of the fire brigade attended the scene alongside four water tenders, two water tankers and two district officers.

Aerial firefighting operations took place and consequently the public was asked to avoid operating drones in the area.
Dublin Fire Brigade added that personnel also protected properties affected by the blaze.
It reported that a strong wind had driven "smoke across a wide area".
Those affected by the smoke were urged to close their windows.
