A teenager has been injured following an incident understood to be a stabbing in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

He was found on Jervis Street at around 4pm.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The scene has been examined by gardaí and Jervis Street has since reopened to traffic.
