Thousands of people are taking part in a pro-Palestine rally in Dublin city centre this afternoon.
The National March for Palestine rally is taking place three days after the annual Nakba Day, which marks the anniversary of when hundreds of thousands were forced to flee or were expelled from their homes in the war that accompanied Israel's declaration of independence.
It is also taking place as Ireland plans to officially recognise the Palestinian State by the end of May.
Organisers of the rally say they want the Government to sanction Israel for what is happening in Gaza.
The march took 12 minutes to pass one point on O'Connell Bridge.
The rally began at 1.30pm at the Garden of Remembrance, before travelling down O'Connell Street and on to Leinster House.
Those taking part shouted slogans including "free, free, Palestine" and "ceasefire now".
Meanwhile, Taoiseach Simon Harris has spoken with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre about recognition of the State of Palestine.
"My discussions today follow on from a range of conversations in recent days with the King of Jordan, the Prime Minister of Spain, the Prime Minister of Australia, the Prime Minister of Slovenia and the President of Israel," Mr Harris said.
