Two men linked to the Kinahan Organised Crime Group are being questioned after €240,000 worth of drugs were seized in Blanchardstown.

The men, in their 20s and 40s, were arrested yesterday, after around €240,000 worth of cannabis and €2,600 in cash were seized following a search in Blakestown.

Gardaí from the Finglas Drugs Unit at Finglas Garda Station, along with uniform members and the Garda Dog Unit searched a premises in the afternoon, near where Eric Fowler was shot dead five years ago.

The 34-year-old father-of-two was the 18th victim of the Hutch Kinahan feud.

Gardaí say the suspected cannabis herb will now undergo further forensic analysis.

The two men are being questioned at a garda station in north Dublin.
