A teenage boy has been charged in connection with the serious assault of a US tourist in Dublin city centre.
57-year-old Stephen Termini was attacked on Dublin's Store Street on Wednesday.
He remains in intensive care at Beaumont Hospital.
The 14-year-old boy appeared before a special sitting of the Children's Court this afternoon.
He was remanded on bail to appear before Children's Court on Thursday.
