Two people have been arrested and over €1 million worth of heroin and cocaine has been seized after a search operation in Dublin yesterday evening.
Gardaí attached to the DMR East Divisional Drug Unit searched a residential property in Sandyford just before 7.30pm.
During the course of the operation €560,000 worth of heroin and €490,000 worth of cocaine was seized.
A man and a woman, both in their 50s, were arrested in relation to the seizure and are being held at Dundrum Garda Station.
The seizure was part of Operation Tara, which aims to disrupt and prosecute drug trafficking networks.
