A garda car was struck by another vehicle this evening after two cars were observed "driving erratically" in the Cherry Orchard area of Dublin.
Gardaí were responding to reports of dangerous driving at the time of the crash.
Two vehicles were observed "driving erratically" but they failed to stop when requested, according to gardaí.
One of the vehicles then collided with an official garda car.
There were no injuries in the incident.
Gardaí are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also appealing to anyone who was travelling in the Cherry Orchard area at the time, who may have camera footage.
