Two motorcyclists died in a collision on Dublin's M50 motorway today, gardaí have confirmed.
The collision, which occurred between Junction 9 and Junction 7, involved two motorcycles and a truck.
The two motorcyclists, men aged in their 50s and 60s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was uninjured.
The road remained closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene.
The M50 has fully reopened after collision investigators concluded a technical examination of the scene.

The M50 northbound is among the main routes to Dublin Airport.
Airport operator daa said it was aware of this afternoon's incident on the motorway and that it had affected some people travelling to the airport.
Aircoach had also warned it was "unfortunately experiencing" delays to its service to and from Dublin Airport as a result of the M50 crash. It urged customers: "Please allow extra travel time."

Gardaí urged the public not to share images of the fatal collision on social media and messaging apps.
They said they were aware of graphic imagery being spread online and said this material is "disrespectful to the deceased, their family and friends".
Gardaí also appealed for any witnesses to the Red Cow collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling on the M50 northbound before Junction 9 and may have passed the scene are asked to contact Lucan Garda Station on 01 6667300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
