More than 3,000 ESB customers are without power in south Dublin city this evening.
The ESB is investigating faults at Milltown, Harold's Cross and Garville Avenue.
The incidents around the Rathmines area were reported shortly after 10pm.
The ESB expects the largest fault, which affects approximately 1,800 customers, to be resolved after midnight, while it is working to resolve the other faults by 2.30am.
"We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible," it said on its Powercheck website.
