An investigation is under way after two teenage boys were injured during an incident in Dublin last night.

Gardaí were called to Churchill Terrace in Dublin 4, at around 8pm following reports of a disturbance.

Two boys, aged in their mid and late teens, were found with apparent stab wounds.

One boy is being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, while the other was taken to St James's Hospital.

The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination and investigations are continuing.
