Two men have been arrested after more than €1.3m of suspected cannabis, cocaine and mixing agent was seized in Dublin.

Search operations were carried out at a business premises in west Dublin and two homes in the city centre by officers attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Special Crime Task Force yesterday evening.

During the course of the searches, 66kgs of cannabis, a smaller quantity of cocaine and mixing agent with a value of €1,320,000 was seized.

Two vehicles and €33,090 in cash were also seized.

Two men, aged 35 and 36, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking related offences.

They are being held at Finglas and Mountjoy garda stations.
