A man in his 20s has been arrested following the seizure of drugs, believed to be worth over €144,000, and ammunition in Dublin.
The seizure was made following a search of a premises under warrant in Ballymun today. The search was part of ongoing investigations into organised crime.
During the search gardaí seized around €80,000 of suspected heroin, €64,000 of suspected cannabis herb and around €150 of suspected benzodiazepine. Gardaí say that the drugs, totalling €144,150, are subject to analysis.
40 9mm rounds of semi-automatic ammunition were also seized during the search.
The arrested man, 24, is currently being held at Ballymun Garda Station.
