Three people have been rescued by the Irish Coast Guard after getting into difficult in Howth, Dublin.
The Howth Unit, along with Rescue 116 and the Howth Lifeboat, were alerted to a person in the water at Lions Head.
Upon arrival, two people were located in the water and a third person at the base of a steep cliff.

The two people in the water were winched onboard Rescue 116, while the third person was assisted to the top of the cliff by the Coast Guard cliff rescue team.
The Irish Coast Guard has urged anyone who sees anyone in trouble in the water or along the coast to dial 112/999 and ask for the Coast Guard.
