Investigation under way into death of man in Dublin

An investigation is under way following the death of a man in Dublin, in what gardaí say are "unexplained circumstances".

Gardaí say that the man was found unconscious on the N3 at the Snugborough Road Bridge, Blanchardstown at around 3.30am.

The man, who was aged in his 40s, was then brought to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Gardaí say that all the circumstances are being investigated, and an appeal for witnesses has been issued.

They are appealing for any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were on the Snugboroguh Road or travelling on the N3 between 1am and 3.30am to make this available to them.
