A woman has been injured in a shooting incident in Ballymun in Dublin.
It happened in the Shangan Park area this afternoon.
Gardaí say the suspected offender fled the scene.
The woman, who was being treated at the scene, suffered a head wound. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
