Arrest made after stolen vehicle crashes into cars in Lusk

A man has been arrested after a stolen car crashed into a number of parked vehicles in Lusk, Co Dublin.

Gardaí said incident happened in the Whitehorn Walk area of Lusk last night.

It is understood that the driver then abandoned the car and attempted to hijack another vehicle in the area, threatening the driver. No one was injured in the incident.

The car that crashed into the parked vehicles was stolen during a burglary in Maynooth, Co Kildare on Thursday.

The arrested man is currently being detained at Balbriggan Garda Station.
