A man in his mid 30s has been arrested after a 40-minute pursuit between Dublin and Kildare early this morning.
It is believed the man had damaged a house in Tallaght with a car, prompting a call at around 2.15am.
Gardaí later discovered the man driving nearby and tried to arrest him, which resulted in a 40-minute pursuit, ending in Kildare.
During the pursuit, the man rammed a garda car outside Emo in Co Laois. No one was injured.
A man is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
