Gardaí in Irishtown are investigating an alleged sexual assault on Sunday 9 December 2018.
The injured woman describes the male suspect as being in his late twenties or early thirties, with a short beard, glasses, short dark hair and a short sleeved shirt.
She was wearing a long black dress at the time.
The incident is believed to have happened in a car between the hours of 12.44am and 3.44am in the vicinity of Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge, Merrion Road, Serpentine Avenue areas of Dublin 4.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in those areas between 12.43am and 2.14am on the morning in question is asked to contact the gardaí
Gardaí also have particular interest in the movements of the injured woman in the Mountjoy area of Dublin 1 between 2.14am until 3.44am.
Any motorists with 'dashcam' footage relating to the above times and locations is asked to contact gardaí, as well as anyone else who may have information that may assist the investigation.
