The 145th Dublin Horse Show gets under way at the RDS in Dublin today.
Up to 100,000 people are expected to attend the event throughout the week, with large crowds expected for Ladies Day on Thursday and the traditional family days on Saturday and Sunday.
Around 1,600 horses and ponies will take part in the show's various equestrian events, over the next five days.
The show comprises of 134 competitions, including 14 international show jumping competitions - eight of which carry world ranking points.
The highlight of the week for many is the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup on Friday.
The Irish team, who are the current European Champions, will look to continue their winning ways.
Meanwhile, the Horseplay Hub will take over the RDS Concert Hall for the duration of the event, where special guests and experts will share their knowledge.
