A man has been taken to hospital after he was assaulted in Dublin City centre this evening.
Gardaí were called to the scene on Talbot Street shortly after 6pm.
It is understood the attack was carried out by a number of men using hurleys.
The injured man was taken to the Mater Hospital where his condition is said to be not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
