Gardaí are treating as murder the death of a man in New Ross, Co Wexford.
It follows the preliminary results of a post-mortem examination on the body of John O'Connor.
The findings are not being released for operational reasons.
A man in his 30s who was arrested remains in custody.
A second man, who was arrested, has been released without charge.
Mr O'Connor, who was from the area, was found at his home shortly after 11am on Tuesday by gardaí and emergency services who attended the scene.
He was pronounced dead there a short time later.
The house was preserved for technical and forensic examination.
It is believed that Mr O'Connor may have been assaulted before he died.

Gardaí conducted house-to-house inquiries in the area and members of the Garda Technical Bureau have been examining Mr O'Connor's home.
A senior investigating officer was appointed, as well as a family liaison officer.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses to contact them and are seeking camera footage, including dashcam, from those who were in the area at the time.
