A man has been arrested after cocaine with an estimated value of €1.4 million was seized at Dublin Port.
Twenty kilogrammes of cocaine were found by Customs dog Laddie during a search of a refrigerated unit after a vehicle was stopped.
The search was carried out as part of an investigation targetting "transnational organised crime".
The man, who is in his early 20s, was arrested in relation to drug trafficking offences and is being held at Blandchardstown Garda Station.
The search was conducted involving personnel from the Revenue Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and the Wicklow/Wexford Garda Divisions.
Gardaí have said the investigation in ongoing.
