A man has been charged in relation to the suspected aggravated burglary and robbery at a school in Longford yesterday evening.
The man was arrested after people attending a meeting at a primary school in Longford were threatened before a sum of cash was taken.
The man, who was wearing a mask and armed with what is believed to have been a screwdriver, went into the school at around 7pm where a school board meeting was taking place.
No one was injured in the incident.
The 38-year-old man was arrested in Longford town following the incident.
