Three brothers and a fourth man have been charged in connection with ATM raids across Monaghan, Meath and Cavan last year.
The men, aged 26, 29, 34 and 38 appeared before the Special Criminal Court this afternoon,
Gerard and Ciaran Duffy, both with an address in Greagh, Loughmourne, Castleblayney, Stephen Duffy of Coose, Tullynahinera, Castleblayney and Niall Finnegan Cullyhana, Co Armagh were arrested early this morning.
Gerard and Ciaran Duffy are charged with the theft of an AIB ATM on Main Street, Castleblayney and criminal damage of the wall on 3 April, 2019.
The brothers are also accused of the attempted theft of the ATM at Riverfront Bar and Restaurant in Virginia, Co Cavan on 14 August, 2019 and possession of cash in Moynalty, Co Meath with the intention of facilitating the commission of a serious offence by a criminal organisation on the same date.
They are also charged with possession of cash in Moynalty, Co Meath on 20 August.
Ciaran Duffy faces a sixth charge of the movement of cash in a Toyota Avensis on 20 August in Co Meath.
34-year-old Stephen Duffy and 38-year-old Niall Finnegan were charged with two offences; the movement of cash in a Toyota Avensis in Moynalty, Co Meath with the intention of facilitating the commission of a serious offence by an organised crime on 20 August.
They are also charged with being in possession of stolen property, that being cash, at The Yard, Moynalty, Co Meath.
The three judges of the Special Criminal Court made an order that the trials would be heard in the court.
The four men were remanded in custody to appear again before the Special Criminal Court next Monday.
